GlowDog Warranty Policy

At GlowDog, we are committed to providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service. We stand behind the quality of our LED, RGB rechargeable dog collars, and we offer a limited 1-year warranty on all defective products. This warranty policy outlines the terms and conditions under which a defective product may be repaired or replaced.

Warranty Coverage

Our one-year warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. During the one year from the date of purchase, GlowDog will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship under normal use and maintenance.

Warranty Conditions

This warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable. To be eligible for warranty service, you must:

  • Provide Proof of Purchase: To validate the warranty, a receipt or proof of purchase is required. The proof must indicate the date of purchase, the product name, and the seller’s details. Handwritten receipts or incomplete proofs will not be accepted.
  • Use the Product as Intended: The product must follow the manufacturer’s instructions and guidelines. Any deviation from the specified usage instructions will void the warranty.
  • Report the Defect Promptly: Report the defect within the 1-year warranty period and within 14 days of discovering the defect. Delays in reporting may result in denial of the warranty claim.
  • Provide Evidence of Defect: Submit detailed photographic and video evidence showing the defect and explaining how it occurred. The evidence must include multiple angles and close-up shots. A written description of the circumstances leading to the defect is also required.
  • Follow Maintenance Guidelines: Demonstrate that the product has been maintained according to the manufacturer’s guidelines, including any cleaning and storage recommendations. A maintenance log with dates and descriptions of each action must be provided.
  • Original Packaging: The product must be returned in its original packaging, which includes all accessories, manuals, and any other items originally included with the product. Returns without the original packaging or with missing items may not be accepted or may result in delays or additional fees for processing the warranty claim.
  • Environmental Use Documentation: Provide detailed information about the environmental conditions in which the product was used. This includes:
    • City and State: The city and state where the product was primarily used.
    • Approximate Time Outside: The approximate amount of time the product was used outdoors, including the frequency and duration of outdoor use.
    • Weather Conditions: A log of the weather conditions during the periods of use, including temperature, humidity, and any adverse weather conditions encountered.

Failure to provide accurate and complete environmental use documentation may result in denial of the warranty claim.

Warranty Exclusions

The GlowDog warranty does not cover:

  • Damage Due to Improper Use: Any damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accidents, alterations, or improper installation.
  • Normal Wear and Tear: Issues arising from normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, or other cosmetic damage that does not affect the product’s functionality.
  • Unauthorized Repairs: Any product repaired or modified by anyone other than GlowDog or an authorized GlowDog service provider.
  • Loss or Theft: Products that have been lost or stolen.
  • Environmental Damage: Damage caused by exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture, or other environmental conditions not recommended by the manufacturer.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To make a warranty claim, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Customer Service: Reach out to our customer service team at contact@glowdog.co with your proof of purchase, photographic or video evidence of the defect, and a description of how the defect occurred.
  2. Evaluation: Our customer service team will evaluate your claim and may request additional information or images to assess the issue. This may include evidence of maintenance as per the guidelines.
  3. Return the Product: If the claim is approved, you may be asked to return the defective product to us. GlowDog will provide instructions for returning the product.
  4. Repair or Replacement: Upon receipt and verification of the defective product, GlowDog will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product. If a replacement product is no longer available, we will offer a product of comparable value or issue a refund.

Limitation of Liability

GlowDog’s liability is limited to repairing or replacing the defective product, as described in this warranty policy. Under no circumstances shall GlowDog be liable for any incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product.
